Look who came to Visit!

Had a very welcomed visit from my little brother last night. The kids were beyond excited to see him as they adore him to pieces!
He has moved into London and lives much closer so we are hoping that he is able to visit much, much more then we have been seeing him. All in all it was a great visit and the kids very much enjoyed his company as did I!!

Alix went to school and they celebrated his birthday with the class

He then came home and went to group and they also celebrated with him with cupcakes

While all this was going on my self and Alan made him a Piggy cake from Angry Birds

I think it turned out pretty awesome!!

We then had cake after dinner and gave him his present

BATMAN for the win naturally.

On Sunday we will be celebrating with my parents and our couzins Jordan, Sam and Alayah

I am making little pizza's and angry bird cupcakes! Yummy can't wait

30 Days of Thanks November ... Well I Failed!

So it would seen I did not make it to the end of the month with my 30 Days of Thanks.

Between being sick and this nasty "rash" and Christmas preparations November was just my month.
But I am very proud of myself I made it past more then 12 posts in one month ... BIG WIN!!!

To sum it all up like my SIL in her last post I am thankful for life and everything in it, the good, the bad, and most definitely the ugly! All these moments make every day worth living and fighting for.
I am thankful my my amazing 3 kids KayBay, lildude and lilbug. They are the reason I breath, the reason I keep going and the most important they are the key holders to my most prized possession MY HEART!!

I am thankful for my hubby because with out him I would not be a mommy to them 3 amazing little being's. Hes my rock through all the ups and downs in this crazy chaotic but beautiful life!

My forever growing family. Who would have thought that 10 years ago it was just me my mom and 2 sibling that I had not seen in a few years. To this a forever growing circle of dysfunctional love, to family I had not seen in years that I thought never thought of me nor wanted me as I am not their blood, to reuniting with my sibling, and to my large amount of in laws, that except me flaws and all.
A foster sister that means everything to me, she is also my rock, she is that one person that I have never ever had to worry about leaving me when needed most. Because she has been thro it all with me. We share a bond that not many can say that they have and I know deep in my heart with will be friends/sisters to that very end!

My friends for the words of wisdom and words of stupidity to make me laugh.

30 Days of Thanks Catch up AGAIN!!

Things just have been insane lately, with the hols house being sick the the stomach flu and among other things goingon!

I am thankful for Candaian health care, medications (that I can have) friends and family that hlep when needed espicialy when down and out of commision for a bit, for my hubby that takes care of the house, kids and myself when I m not able, far ginger ale and soup, for warm blankets, cuddles with my libug, and so much more!!

Ginger Ale, Tea, Soup and a warm blanket!

The essentials for being sick. Very convinced I have the stomach flu! TMI but I cant stop pooping water, my tummy hurts so bad, when I love i get very dizzy and nauseous. The smell of food makes me run to the bathroom. Even water at times is hard to keep down. So its been tea, and chicken noodle soup today. I am praying I just have what Addy had yesterday and it only last till morning. I have so much to get done tomorrow considering I have a sale to get to tomorrow as its the last day. Alix really wants a race track for his birthday and Toys r Us has it on sale till tomorrow. So I need to hit up there and Micheals tomorrow for yarn. Have a bunch of Christmas presents to get done!

I am thankful for heat, blankies, cuddles and Showers. has  Lilbug has been puking since around 11ish last night and a shower or two has been in order a few times. She is know napping between my legs on the couch so even tho, Id love to go pee im not even going to attempt to move!

Cable, need I say more I am a mom of 3, cable is a necessity in this house. Ok so yes I know its not a life or death need, but it is defiantly a need. I dont know how people that have kids go with out it. My sanity some days depends on it. Also I need my TVD, The Originals, Criminal Minds, ONCE, and Walking Dead fix once a week lol!!

For the fact that my MIL took the time to teach me the basics of crocheting. With that I have found something that I love to do. Keeos my mind busy on the days where I just cant seem to controll my thoughts, and it is something that I can pass down to my children. I didnt realy do much with it when she was still alive, but once she passed it was something that I def felt that I needed to start on again. Every time a baby was born she would make a blanket set, something I am know doing to keep her memory alive, not that we could possible forget her but its something to remember her by,

being able to sit at home with the kids where it is warm and watch the best Santa Claus Parade ever, eating pizza and having hot chocolate. Love the Toronto parade. One of these years I hope that we can take the kids to see it!

I am thankful for Them All

Please dont forget to take a second oput of your day to give thanks to the people that have died fighting for your freedom and the their family's that have also given so much for your freedom. Give thanks to the ones still fighting and again their family's, We should also take the time to thank the animals that have and still do serve us as well!!

Canada and the freedom we have to be who we are and live how we choose, to the men woman that made it so we can be free. Stop and thank a solider as much as you can today. Show the older generation that we are not ignorant to what they have and continue to do for us!!

I am thankful for my mom and the things she does for her family. She turned 50 today and def does not look it ! We have had many ups and downs, but I love her no matter what. 

I am thankful for my mother in law (passed 5 years ago today) that gave life to her amazing son, with out her I would not be where I am today with a man that I love to pieces and 3 amazing children. With out these to ladies my life would not be what it is today. and tho I may not be exactly where I want to be I know with there support I will get there!!

I am thankful for a  build it and fix it kinda hubby!

 Really didnt want to have to get a new tree this year as I love my tree and the shape of it. Its not ur typical sad looking tree. Has the actual shape of a pine tree and I love it lol . So he created a new stand for it and its in the shape of a box, so we are wrapping it to look like a present. Love him!!!

I am thankful for my kids teachers this year. Alix's teacher does so well with him and im amazed. She is patient  on his not so calm days. She takes the time to talk to me after school if he has had not such a great day,. She encourages him when he is doing great. The hole school is working with him this year to get him the help he is needing, they are understanding that he just can't help himself sometimes and they are working with him to get him in a good schedule, as they have noticed that he is in need of a solid schedule.

  Kays teacher is all about communication and making sure im up to date with progresses and other thing her teacher last year never did. I have seen a tremendous change and improvement in Kays behaviour at school, and her learning, especially spelling and math. We are still working on the reading but that to has also improved as well.

My first born, even on my worst days she has that power to make me smile.So unbelievable proud of this little girl. She was recognized at school today for stopping a class mate from being bullied by an older kid. She not only stood up to him but also reported it to the principle!! Never have I been prouder!!

I would seriously suggest reading them if you enjoyed the Vampire Academy series

This is Sydney's story after the fact ... many of the characters from VA are in this book as well. Many twists I definitely did not expect!

Dentist ... weird I know but I am thankful for my dentist. She is amazing with my kids and super nice. Def recommend her to anyone with hyper active children.

Dr. Ingred Thie at 390 commissioners. If your needing a dentist I recommend her. Tell her I sent you and I earn points towards a free cleaning!!

November 2, 2014 Family

Today I am thankful for my Family.

 Blood and none blood, does not matter to me, your all the same in my heart.

 For everything they have and continue to do for me. For the love and support thro out the years even when I have not deserved it. For patience with me and my stubborn ways. For helping me thro my weakest moments and toughest times. For the kick in the ass's that I have absolutely needed along the way. Things have not always been the way they should have been. They certainly did not turn out how they should have either and we have been thro pain and lose, but with that I know that some day it will make us stronger as a unit. 

My life would not be the same with out my mom, sister and brother. We have not always been together but I can always hope that one day we can unit as a family again.

The Mulhollands/Williams, they may not be blood but they were the only family I knew growing up and even tho we have drifted thro the years they will always be a big part of who I am. 

The Parsons, Kevin Sarah and Ryan, they are the family that I have adopted, a dad I never had, and one that treats my mom right and keeps her together even when she wants to give up, that has helped me thro the years with issues I just couldn't understand. He drives me crazy at times, lets be honest lol

A brother and sister, that could never substitute the longing I had for my bio siblings but filled just enough of that void to make it thro the years I spent with out them. 

The Hawerchuks/Lindfields/Armstrongs, the family that took me in to there unit and made me one of them. My in laws. The large crazy, messed up, disfunctional but amazingly loving family that I could not see a day in my life with out. They make life that much interesting and there is never a dull moment and I am proud to call them min!

My Foster family, a foster mom that never gave up, picked me up and taught me to live again. She loved unconditional, laughed with her hole heart and shapped me into the woman that I am today. My foster sisters, a never ending bond that I am forever great full for. Where I met my best friend/sister a person I know 100% has my back no matter what, that has been thro hell and back with me and stuck by me the hole way. 

But most importantly what they all have in comon, I love them for every thing they have brought in my life and the things they continue to bring into my life!

Halloween Night

This year we were meant to spend it with the the SIL and family, but plans changes as weather was yet again yucky and we both had a sick child. Se we decided to do it sepretley. As down at are end of town we have a church that does trick or treating in side and i knew no matter what lilbug would be able to do at least a bit of trick or treating. But we did end up being able to go out with are cousins and their lil one. So we got to be there for baby cousins first Halloween. We went our for a hour and came home with a good lot of candy! The rain some what held off and they kids had a blast

Today I am thankful for my life and the freedoms that I have, and the soldiers that fought for them so many years ago. They died for are freedom and that is something we all should be so very thankful for! 

Never forgotten, remembered with pride and glory!

Thanksgiving 2014

 Spent with the Hawerchuk/Armstrong/Lindfield's

This year Vanessa  (SIL)and myself did it right this year. We planned and shopped early that way nothing was forgotten or  like in past dinners we were not able to find something last minute. So we planned a menu together and shopped together, split the cost. So things were good we just needed to get veggies on that Friday ... fresh is better! 

And then the morning happened,  

Its never a family get together with out something minor happening lol ... no jokes!

So I woke to a weird constant alarm around four in the morning. Thinking nothing of it went back to  sleep. Later in the morning when I woke it was loader and more annoying. The BIL wasn't sure what it was so I went looking to find out that it was the CO2 meter going off, but being as it was an old one the BIL and myself begged it to being that it was old and they needed a new one. Vanessa being Vanessa got all worried and then started getting myself and the BIL all worried. Needles to say we ended up outside awaiting on a different CO2 meter from our aunts house to inform us what i suspected all along was a old bugged out meter. I mean yes its always better to be safe then sorry and being a mom I totally get it. If I hadn't been up early in the morning hearing it and by the time we went out side it was 11am. I would have been more worried but we had already been in the house for hours with no signs of being ill. 

But the kids and I had a bit of fun outside while waiting!

On top of this the wheegirl (the pox) and SIL (head cold) were sick. So I ended up forcing the SIL  to sit, relax and deel with wheegirl while I prepared cooked and cleaned up dinner. BIL helped as much as he could since he was also helping SIL with wheegirl. But I loved it. Love to cook so it was a plus for me and I was feeling anxious about over the festivities for that morning so it was good to keep busy.  After the bird was stuffed and veggies where on the stove ready to start cooking I decided that lilbug needed a nap. Got her napping and went for a coffee break outside, came in to this!

How cute are they! 

Later on that day we gathed as a family minus a few people, but it was a fabouls dinner spent with family, laughs and most importantly togetherness of a family that loves each other. Yes where crazy and loud and drive each other up the way but we love each other and thats what matters 

Did I mention that the turkey turned out amazing!!

This year the kids are very excited for Thanksgiving weekend as we are spending it with the in laws!

Been a few years so were excited. Vanessa and I got most of the stuff last weekend and are getting the veggies tomorrow. We planned our dinner for Saturday because it makes more sense for us to do it then as were gunna be too stuffed to head home that night.  So bring on Friday so I can get up there and help prep a yummy feast!
